Installing the system in a mobile network provides the operator with the unique ability to set up CAMEL roaming for its subscribers in non-CAMEL networks, with virtually no need for alteration or modernization of roaming partners’ networks.
Reliability
PROTEI Standalone CAMEL SSP features hardware redundancy for system-critical components, automatic control over software operation, automatic module recovery (for example after power outage) and switchover to reserve units in case of module failure.
Subscriber interaction
PROTEI Standalone INAP SSP accepts DTMF signals and generates audio signals and voice messages from pre-recorded fragments or using Text-to-Speech.
Versatility
Both ISUP and SIP can be used for connecting to exchange equipment.
Statistics
The CAMEL SSP statistics recording system collects and generates statistical information about services provided. The operator can choose the makeup of statistical data as required.
